Attracting an estimated 118,000 attendees last year and spanning an impressive 10 blocks, the West 4th Khatsahlano Street Party returns this Saturday, July 12th, for it’s 4th year running as Vancouver’s biggest and most stylish blockparty of the summer. Deeply rooted to its neighborhood, the Khatsahlano Street Party brings together a wide array of art, music and culture.
This year, in celebration of the new partnership between Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW) and the West 4th Business Association (creators of Khatsahlano in 2011), VFW will honor the neighborhood as the official dining and shopping neighborhood of Vancouver Fashion Week.
Vancouver Fashion Week will also showcase two fashion shows at 1:00pm and at 5:30pm, and feature an open booth and media wall. Street Style photographers will scout out Khatsahlano’s most stylish and fashionable attendees, so make sure to come in your favorite outfit! They will also give out 200 show and day passes for Spring/Summer 2015 Vancouver Fashion Week, this September!
Thinking about the event, the Vancouver Fashion Week crew came out with ideas to inspire the Khatsahlano attendees with the summer trends from our streetstyle gallery.
• Wide-brimmed hats will protect you from the sun, keep your hair in place and pump up your style! Khatsahlano will happen on a beautiful, sunny Saturday – we are expecting 30°C weather!

• Vibrant colors and bold prints! Isn’t that what summer is all about?
• Bigger fits rather than tight pieces for looser silhouettes! Not to mention smart and simple white tops, avoiding the heat.
